Rogers Aviation is looking for a Sales and Operation Officer for its Cargo department.

Responsibilities:

• Attend to customers at the counter or telephone regarding: delivery orders
• Deal with import warehouses and customs
• Inform principals of any irregularities
• Attend to shippers at the counter or telephone – quotation etc
• Book space on carriers/deal with reservations procedures
• Prepare/verify cargo documentation
• Liaise with export warehouses and handling agents/customs
• Invoicing of customers/Input of cargo data in the system
• Collect payments and banking/Cash book for accounts department
• Compile statistics for cargo
• Sales calls / meet freight forwarders or potential customers
• Send quotations / negotiate rates with carriers / secure business
• Communicate and inform respective airlines
• Report on the market survey to be done each week
• Follow up on export and import files
