Accounts Officer

ABOUT THE JOB

  • Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department
  • Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements
  • Daily enter key data of financial transactions in database
  • Perform reconciliation of daily and monthly revenues
  • Manage bank account deposits
  • Perform account payable and receivable transactions
  • Bookkeeping and general accounting
  • Assist with regular bank reconciliations
  • Participate in month end account closing activities
  • Provide assistance and support to Senior Accounts Officers
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of bank accounts

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Excellent level of spoken and written French and English
  • Attention to details needed
  • Good time management
  • Good analytical skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Be a good team player
  • Disciplined

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES NEEDED

  • ACCA Level 1 completed
  • At least 1 – 3 years of experience in the relevant field
  • Well-versed with Microsoft tools
