Social Media and Content Coordinator

ABOUT THE JOB

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will assist in the creation and implementation of social media campaigns to promote brands within the business and manage the day-to-day activity on our social media platforms by creating engaging content, building a content schedule, and monitoring audience engagement. You will collaborate with the wider marketing team to develop and execute the social media component of multi-channel marketing campaigns.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Edit, proofread, and improve writers’ posts
  • Liaise with content writers both internally and externally to ensure brand consistency in every content developed
  • Optimize content according to the SEO strategy of the company's respective digital assets
  • Manage content distribution to online channels and social media platforms to increase web traffic and drive brand awareness and generate online sales
  • Support the marketing department's initiatives with the planning, executing, and tracking Building and maintaining a social media presence
  • Generate, edit, schedule, publish and share engaging, relevant, original and high-quality content (e.g. text, photos, small videos/GIFs and trendy news) for all channels including website
  • Leverage the right tools to manage content
  • Work with designers to ensure content and visuals are informative and appealing
  • Communicate with industry professionals and influencers for collaboration to promote brand reputation
  • Collaborate with other teams, like production to launch latest updates on products and promotions
  • Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor reviews
  • Suggest and implement new features brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
  • Perform research on competitors' trends and audience preferences
  • Provide constructive feedback and weekly reports

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES NEEDED

  • 2+ years of experience and/or studying social media, marketing, communications or journalism
  • Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
  • Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge
  • Adequate knowledge of web design, web development, CRO and SEO
  • Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels
  • Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organisational ability
  • Have good communication skill in French and English
  • Have the ability to work with a high level of attention to detail
